Why?

While we don't need an excuse to help others, here are some numbers that drive us:

~1% of children living in orphanages worldwide that will be adopted

Ukrainian Orphan Statistics:

~25% of orphanage graduates find stable employment

~10% of orphans commit suicide before age 20

~50-60% of orphan girls become victims of sex-trafficking, sex slavery or prostitution

~70% orphan boys are arrested within 3 years

United States Foster Care:

~110-120,000 foster children eligible for adoption

~50% of marriages end in divorce, leaving children who are:
-30% less physically healthy than two parent homes
-300% more likely to need psychological help
-2X more likely to attempt suicide
